Art of Problem Solving
Academic Year Math

Precalculus

Students explore trigonometry, complex numbers, and two- and three-dimensional vector spaces with emphasis on how these areas of mathematics are related. This helps build a solid foundation for advanced courses like calculus, linear algebra, and physics. Students also tackle challenging problems from contests like the AMC 12, AIME, and HMMT. Our curriculum goes beyond a standard precalculus class and focuses on skills applicable to AP courses and professional STEM fields.
