Assistant Campus Director

You understand what actors mean when they say, "I love acting, but what I really want to do is direct!" That's because you love teaching, but what you really want to do is run your own learning center. You're ready to do a bit of everything - teach math classes, hire and train teachers, work with parents to ensure their children's success, and whatever else comes your way.

As our Assistant Campus Director, you will work closely with the Campus Director supervising our dedicated staff of teaching professionals, meet with parents and students, teach several core math classes, and assist with community outreach efforts.

To apply, send a cover letter and a resume to jobs@aopsacademy.org. Please include a mathematical writing sample if you have one. This is a full-time position.

  • Respond to email inquiries from parents of potential students.
  • Understand the educational needs of high-performing students and communicate AoPS Academy's ability to serve those needs.
  • Work in a flexible, family-friendly company with a strong sense of mission.

Requirements

The ideal applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills. Marketing and/or community outreach experience is a plus. We seek someone with a strong understanding of the local community and its educational needs. This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Some weekend and evening work is required.

Between your zest for teaching and your inclination to lead, you want a position that gives you the opportunity to do it all—teach language arts classes, hire and train teachers, work with students to ensure their success, meet with parents interested in our program, and whatever else comes your way.

This is a part-time, salaried position that provides opportunities both for teaching and for leading and supporting other teachers in an administrative role. The pay is flexible depending on the number of classes you teach.
